My name is Anna Gyorfi, psychotherapist working with both individuals and couples.
I bring over thirty years of experience in the field of mental health, having practised as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist—first in Budapest, and since 2011 in London. Following my move to the UK, I undertook a two-year placement with the South London and Maudsley IAPT service before establishing my own private practice.
I hold an MSc in Psychology and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest. I trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with the Hungarian Psychoanalytic Society, and later pursued further study in psychodynamic couple therapy at the Tavistock Clinic.
I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (Division of Clinical Psychology) and a candidate member of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
